Three Ways to Play: Costume Rendering Styles using Procreate

Finding artistic style in digital rendering can be challenging. With nearly unlimited choices, how can you find “you” in your costume sketches? Working on an iPad in Procreate, the team at Digital Theatre Design will guide you through three approaches in digital design, while working from a script. Over the course of this 3-day workshop, you will learn how to sketch and incorporate real textures, digitally paint in watercolor, pastel, and marker styles, and finally create dazzling, photorealistic collage renderings. No previous knowledge of Procreate is required. Participants will be offered asynchronous content prior to the workshop to learn the basics of the program.
